The team behind Salty Labs

We combine strategy, product, and technical implementation so AI in companies is not just discussed, but introduced securely and productively.

We do not set up anything we have not already built, used productively, or tested in real workflows ourselves.

We do not sell theoretical AI concepts, but understandable, controlled solutions with real business value.

Why Salty Labs

Salty Labs was built on the belief that companies do not need more generic AI consulting. They need clear, secure, and implementable solutions.

We do not build or recommend anything we have not already implemented ourselves, used productively, or tested in real workflows. That is why we do not work from hype, but from implementation, control, and clear business value.

Self-tested instead of theoretical
Business, product, and tech in one team
Productive instead of buzzword-driven

How we work

We do not work in the pattern of “workshop, strategy deck, then lots of open questions.”

Instead, we work in a deliberately structured way.

01

identify relevant opportunities

02

build a secure foundation

03

put concrete assistants or workflows into productive use

04

expand in a targeted way

clear scope boundaries
understandable introduction
controlled implementation
integration into existing systems
measurable value

The founding team

Three perspectives, one shared goal: bringing AI into companies in a way that is understood, accepted, and used productively.

Strategy, Product & AI Implementation

Product leadership, clear prioritization, and turning AI into implementable solutions

MBAI · PSPO I · PSM I · 10+ years in product and strategy

Stefan brings more than ten years of experience in product strategy, delivery, and stakeholder-heavy environments. He has worked in complex and safety-critical domains, including energy, infrastructure, and utility-scale projects, and is used to operating with large budgets, many stakeholders, and real implementation risks.

For clients, Stefan translates AI from a broad idea into a clean implementation framework: Which use cases make sense? What is realistic? Where is the fastest value? What should happen first? That combination of strategy, product logic, and operational execution is central to Salty Labs.

Stefan turns AI interest into a credible implementation plan.

Timo

CEO, Growth & Commercial Execution

Company building, partnerships, and pragmatic execution between technology and market

Engineering understanding · Business development · Venture building · Operational execution

Timo combines technical understanding, project practice, and business development. Before and alongside building Salty Lemon and Salty Labs, he gained experience in technical and project-oriented roles, including at LichtBlick and Vattenfall, with exposure to infrastructure, battery, and large-scale implementation contexts.

Timo makes sure Salty Labs not only builds good solutions, but delivers them in a market-relevant, practical, and adoption-ready way. He combines commercial perspective, partnerships, operational reality, and implementation pressure.

Timo turns technology into a commercially viable and executable model.

CTO & Technical Implementation

Technical architecture, stable implementation, and scalable product delivery

8+ years in software engineering and architecture · CTO/tech co-founder experience · Built a 15,000-user product

Chris brings deep expertise in software engineering, system architecture, and technical product building. He has not only developed products, but led them technically from 0 to 1 and from 1 into productive operation.

At Salty Labs, Chris owns the technical foundation of productive AI solutions: from infrastructure and integrations to data flows, monitoring, clean releases, and scalable architecture. Having already built a product with 15,000 users shows that he does not just build tech, but systems that work in real use.

Chris makes sure AI solutions do not just look good, but run reliably in production.

Why this combination works

Salty Labs combines the three perspectives that successful AI introduction requires: strategy and prioritization, business build-out and operational execution, and technical architecture with productive operations. That combination helps clients treat AI not as a loose innovation project, but as understandable, controlled, and productive implementation.

What matters to us

We do not build offers from theoretical distance.

We work with solutions and approaches that we have already used, built, or tested ourselves in real workflows.

built ourselves
used ourselves
introduced ourselves
experienced operationally

What this means for our clients

For our clients, this means one thing above all: they work with a team that does not just talk about AI, but takes responsibility for a clean introduction and productive implementation.

clearer priorities
more realistic scopes
fewer unnecessary experiments
better fit with existing IT
faster paths to a first productive result

Experience from complex environments

product and strategy roles
software and architecture ownership
project work in complex energy and infrastructure contexts
